Good morning, Prosser Piranha families!

If you are receiving this message, you had one or more swimmers registered as a Prosser Piranha last year.  We're happy to tell you that Registration is now open for the 2018 season on https://prosserpiranhas.swimtopia.com/ If you have a different email you would prefer to use, please update that information during registration.  Spread the word to friends, family, and neighbors who have children who want to swim!

Registration Fees - Registration fees have stayed the same, $60 for the first swimmer, and $45 for each additional swimmer. You may pay for registration online with credit card (processing fee added by WePay system), or select "Check" and then mail a check made payable to "PPST"

Additional Forms - Attached, you'll find the Additional Forms required for Registration.  Please print, complete, then return to the team either by email to [email protected] or mail to: PPST, PO Box 1252, Prosser, WA 99350. Registration must be completed online, all Additional Forms received, payment received, City of Prosser Pool pass purchased, and AAU Membership # provided to the Registrar before your swimmer(s) will be allowed in the water.

Volunteer Incentives - The Board voted to replace the Family Volunteer Fee with an incentive program to encourage adults and older non-swimming youth to step up to help during meets.  This is extremely important, because we need 35-40 volunteers to run each meet.  If you would like to help develop this incentive program, please contact President Pro Tem Jason Domanico. 

Practices - First week of practices will be Monday, June 4th-Friday, June 8th in the evenings at the Prosser Aquatic Center. Practices move to our regular 7-8 am and 8-9 am morning schedule beginning Monday, June 11th and first meet is Tuesday, June 12th in Othello.  See "Calendar & Meets" on Swimtopia for more information. *BONUS* You can now add our Calendar to your Calendar! Subscription instructions are on the "Calendar & Meets" page.

AAU Invitationals & MVSL Championships - Mark your calendars now for AAU Invitationals Sat, Jul 14-Sun, Jul 15 in Toppenish. MVSL Championships will also be in Toppenish, Fri, Jul 27-Sun, Jul 29.

Swim Gear - Team Colors are Red & Navy. Swimsuits are required.  Please make sure your swimmer's suit fits them properly and comfortably, neither too large nor too small. Swimsuits can be one or two piece, as long as the swimmer is comfortable. We did not choose a team suit this year, but see "Swim Gear" on Swimtopia for some suggested suit options.

Also recommended are:

• Swim caps
  • Prosser Piranhas swim caps are only $5! See a Board Member to purchase at the first week of practice.
• Flip flops or Slides
• Towels
• T-shirts
• Hoodies
• Sweatpants

Gear purchased through http://swimoutlet.com/prosser and TRT Printed (inside Becky's Coffee Corner, 1120 Meade Ave, Prosser), help benefit the team. 

Scholarships - Thanks to Prosser UGN, PPST is able to offer a limited number of scholarships to families who might not otherwise be able to participate. These scholarships only cover the registration fees. AAU Memberships and City of Prosser pool passes are not paid for by this scholarship and are the responsibility of the applicant to obtain. The form is on Swimtopia under "Registration>Additional Forms".
