Hello, Swim Families!

While we await word from the city regarding reserving the park for our parent meeting, I wanted to email you some preliminary information. If you are new, please do not hesitate to ask any of the board members questions; for now, all you need for your swimmer is a suit, cap, and goggles. The team swim outlet page is linked to our website, where you can find suits and suggestions for team suits. The gear order forms are also linked to the team website. 

The first practice will be June 3rd, and we will have the time block of 4 pm-6 pm reserved for that first week. If that adjusts before the start, that will be discussed at the parent meeting. Once school is out, we will return to our morning schedule from 7 am to 930 am. The coaching staff is working on groups and time assignments. The first two days will be swim trials, ensuring our new swimmers can pass the test, finding the best lane and group assignments, etc.

We are working on scheduling swim official training during that first week at our pool. It is the best spot on the deck, and you can work on your tan all summer. It also helps you better understand the sport of swimming and gain a new respect for it. This sport is unique in that we simply cannot run without volunteers, and having a successful season depends heavily on our family's involvement during meets.
